“Whatever changes [the Lord] directly in an organization or a schedule or a curriculum, what He's really hoping to change is you and me. He wants to change our hearts and enhance our future. “ - Elder Holland

Testimonies

When you are stressed, make an effort to find something good.  Look for things you are blessed with.  Look for the miracles around you.

One person mentioned that they are reading the book “The Infinite Atonement”.

A true saint never stops trying.

You are never so grateful for central heating until after your furnace goes out for a while, in the dead of winter, and you get it fixed.

Sunday School

Mark 9:23

23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

You don't have to be educated to contribute to lessons or to God's work.

Mortality is our training.

As we take responsibility for our learning, we have to stay focused on our end result and how we get there, rather than on where we are today and how far we are from the goal.

“Some suppose that humility is about beating ourselves up. Humility does not mean convincing ourselves that we are worthless, meaningless, or of little value. Nor does it mean denying or withholding the talents God has given us. We don’t discover humility by thinking less of ourselves; we discover humility by thinking less about ourselves.” (President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, “Humility and Basic Truths”, New Era November 2010)

Empathy is a gift of the spirit. Being able to feel others pain, like Christ felt our pain in the garden of Gethsemane.
