First Speaker

They pulled things for their talk from Elder Uchtdorf’s talk, “God among Us”.

Matthew 22:37-39

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Next Speaker

They pulled things from their talk from President Oaks talk, “Defending Our Divinely Inspired Constitution”.

The constitution is a living document.  It is living because it is used to keep our country alive and functioning.  It is also living because it is able to evolve and grow.

Sunday School

We expect certain things. When they do not happen, how do we respond? Patience? Anger? Faith? Loss of faith. 

Doctrine and Covenants 105:6

6 And my people must needs be chastened until they learn obedience, if it must needs be, by the things which they suffer.

Galatians 6:7-9

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
