2 Nephi 25:26
26 And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.
First Speaker
Someone who recent returned from a mission spoke to us.
To sow is to plant by scattering across the earth.
DnC 4
1 Now behold, a marvelous work is about to come forth among the children of men
Matthew 6
24 ¶ No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Everything that we do is planting seeds, both good and bad. Are we planting weeds sometimes?
One of the things we are most selfish with is our time.
Next Speaker
To have a successful garden, you have to plan ahead.
“A wise Cherokee, one of the indigenous tribes in the United States, told his grandson a parable about life. ‘Inside me there is a terrible fight between two wolves,” the grandfather said. “One is evil: full of anger and envy, self-pity and sorrow, greed and lies. The other is good: full of kindness and compassion, humility and truth, love and joy. That fight is going on inside each of us.’
“‘Which wolf will win?’ the grandson asked.
“‘The one you feed,’ the grandfather wisely answered.” (President Dallin H. Oaks, “Choices”, September 2021 For the Strength of Youth)
“Love unfeigned” - What does it mean to feign?
DnC 121
41 No power or influence can or ought to be maintained by virtue of the priesthood, only by persuasion, by long-suffering, by gentleness and meekness, and by love unfeigned;
42 By kindness, and pure knowledge, which shall greatly enlarge the soul without hypocrisy, and without guile—
43 Reproving betimes with sharpness, when moved upon by the Holy Ghost; and then showing forth afterwards an increase of love toward him whom thou hast reproved, lest he esteem thee to be his enemy;
The Oxford Dictionary defines feign as “to pretend to be affected by (a feeling, state, or injury).
We can choose our actions, but not the consequences of those actions. Consequences = outcome.

2 Corinthians 3
6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
The why is the doctrine. The how are programs and policies.
Whether you believe or not, you will still have the consequences, good or bad, of obeying or disobeying.
Repentance is to cleanse us from sin, but is it also a way for us to develop gifts of the spirit.
Do we hide our struggles and make it hard for others to mourn with us to be able to mourn with those that mourn?
