DnC 1:38
38 What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, and I excuse not myself; and though the heavens and the earth pass away, my word shall not pass away, but shall all be fulfilled, whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same.
First Speaker
The speaker shared how he was in boot camp shortly after he joined the Church. He said that there were a handful of members in his group. They met together for an impromptu church meeting when the others were dismissed to their meetings. They sang, “We Thank Thee, O god, For a Prophet”. He said that really worked on his testimony in that tiny group.
Joint Meeting
You will have to get revelation for yourself. You can’t rely on someone else for your testimony.
“Now a word to the parents: your role is essential. Please build strong relationships with your children and youth. Leaders at church can help, but these are your children. No one can have a greater influence on their success than you. Give them love and encouragement and counsel.” (President Russell M. Nelson, Supporting Children and Youth: A Broadcast for Parents and Leaders)
“The vision of the Personal Development: Youth Guidebook is ‘to strengthen your faith in Jesus Christ and help you and your family progress along the covenant path as you meet life’s challenges’ (“What Is Children and Youth?” ChurchofJesusChrist.org).” (2023 Seminary Student Manual, Luke 2:40-52)
Luke 2:52
52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
