Work toward one day having your testimony become a sure knowledge through truly knowing the Savior.
It is a vulnerable and sacred thing to share our testimonies.
One of the speakers said that they were reading the following scripture and not getting much out of it. He then said that he thought about the counsel to liken the scriptures unto ourselves. He said he looked at it for 30 minutes thinking about how it could possibly apply to him. He said he ended up getting a lot out of it.
2 Nephi 12:6
6 Therefore, O Lord, thou hast forsaken thy people, the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and hearken unto soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.
Look at the scriptures you are reading and really ponder on how those verses are about me or apply to me, even if it seems like there is no way possible that it does.
