Moses 7
18 And the Lord called his people Zion, because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there was no poor among them.
3 Nephi 11
29 For verily, verily I say unto you, he that hath the spirit of contention is not of me, but is of the devil, who is the father of contention, and he stirreth up the hearts of men to contend with anger, one with another.
"One way I have seen it done is to search for anything on which we agree. To be that peacemaker, you need to have the simple faith that as children of God, with all our differences, it is likely that in a strong position we take, there will be elements of truth. The great peacemaker, the restorer of unity, is the one who finds a way to help people see the truth they share. That truth they share is always greater and more important to them than their differences. You can help yourself and others to see that common ground if you ask for help from God and then act. He will answer your prayer to help restore peace, as He has mine." (President Henry B. Eyring, “Our Hearts Knit as One”, October 2008 General Conference)
Being right is different than winning.
“Sometimes we rationalize; we wonder if we are feeling a spiritual impression or if it is just our own thoughts. When we begin to second-guess, even third-guess, our feelings—and we all have—we are dismissing the Spirit; we are questioning divine counsel. The Prophet Joseph Smith taught that if you will listen to the first promptings, you will get it right nine times out of ten.” (Elder Ronald A. Rasband, “Let the Holy Spirit Guide”, April 2017 General Conference)

Article of Faith 9
9 We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
Sister Kay A Vinson
1 Corinthians 12:7
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
The Holy Ghost gives us confidence when we are not confident. Through the holy ghost we can do amazing things.
Elder Terence M Vinson
We are taught the philosophies of men in things all around us and it can be easy to get confused.
The first and second great commandments.
Matthew 22
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
The second great commandment is kind of a barometer to check if we are living the first.
Luke 10 - The good Samaritan.
What shall I do to obtain eternal life?
Who is my neighbor?
We can't force someone's will.
We fill all the roles in the good Samaritan story.
